and the phone did ring
and a scary voice came down the line

but the government took my turtle
took my friend away

now do you know anything about jail?
cause I think thats where I am now
hanging out with my cell mate dale
and he's laying on a bed wearing nothing but a towell
yeah

then later that evening I realised that noone was wearing belts
and later that evening I realised the food was really bad
and later that evening I realised a shot load of nurses
and later that evening I started say why why

but the government took my turtle
took my friend away
the government took my turtle
now it's just another lonely day

now the nurse gave me an injection
and I was feeling kinda sleepy
my head felt like a box of jelly beans
.. yum yuum yum yum yum.

then I realised, then I realised.
my turtle was a crack pipe (times by heaps)

took my crack pipe away
